Instructional Design
Instructional Design is the practice of arranging media (communication technology) and content to help learners and teachers transfer knowledge most effectively.
The Lodestone Digital instructional design process consists of three elements:
- Broadly of determining the current state of learner understanding
- Defining the end goal of instruction
- Creating some media-based "intervention" to assist in the transition
Learning may take place in student-only, teacher-led or community-based settings. Each process is supported by pedagogically tested theories of learning. Outcomes of instruction may be directly observable and scientifically measured or they may be completely hidden and assumed.
Lodestone Digital combines the ADDIE process (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluate) with the Thiagi Rapid instructional design process for quick, efficient content creation.
